Kuantan Mountain Bike Enduro-DH 2009

Kuantan Mountain Bike Enduro-DH 2009 is 2 days event with the adrenaline-pumping thrill of Endurance Downhill challenge. The Bukit Pelindong-Teluk Chempedak track is blessed with the natural beauty and commanding view of South China Sea. The race consist of natural obstacles and man-made bridges. This event is the 1st of its kind in Malaysia.

Categories for the race are:

a) Elite – Open to National and ranked riders.
b) Open – Open to all riders.
c) Master A – Open to men age 31 to 40.
d) Master B – Open to men age 41 and above.
e) Ladies – Open to women.
f) Junior – Open to rider age 18 and below.

Reached BC foothill around 7.45a.m...helping Ober to setup the "Anti Gravity" tent....Abg Yazid...Tok penghulu "BC Rider" asked us to merged the tent so it stand more strong...Later on Duan came with his fellow "Art of Downhill" rider setting up their canopy beside us...All other team setup their too...

Seeding started quite late at 11.a.m...and again like last year race...the pickup lorry got problem...this time puncher tire...so most of the rider have to climb-up by themselves to the starting grid...the trail still in wet and slippery condition due to raining yesterday...rider and their bike covered all around with mud...Abg Ijan "ROP Tapak Hijau" felt at the last river drop but managed to finished the race...no injuries...

Final run start at 2p.m...the weather today quite nice...hot sun shiny day...drying up a bit the trail...The leader board shows Ober at 12th places...Hezri 2nd runner-up...both in Hardtail...Heikal at 16th...Duan 17th in Open....

I supposed to work today...but it been canceled...so I decided to go to the Putrajaya Cyclefest...meet the R.O.P gang...then went for the Cyclefest registration...my number is "382"...but unlucky me the t-shirt only left XXS size...body fit woo...so I 'll give it to my GF later...nevermind coz I didn't come to enter the race...just to give support and take the t-shirt only...hehehe..

At 10.45pm I went back to the event place to see Putrajaya Night Challenge...some of R.O.P members were there including bro Zizan...Apai and Zole take part in this race...Apai managed to complete the race but unfortunately not for Zole...he had an accident...pity him...get well soon bro...Waiting until the closing ceremony...then I managed to change the t-shirt to L size after asking one of the crew...
