At high speed way down MMU hill road...not really sure what happen but I think my front tire slipped away (I'm using semi-slick...maybe got sand there) then my pedal kicked flipped the bike...makes me crashed hard enough on the tarmac...ok sudah tergolek...my odometer was flying away...my palm saved by the glove...no bruise on my elbow n shoulder coz I wear long sleeve jersey...the jersey had some minor tear indeed...but my knee can't be save...there's blood already...all injury mostly on the right side of my body...my wrist, elbow, shoulder and butt felt the ache and pain rite now...

The bike...my new replacement MBK saddle torn out (I sold my Da Bomb Da Azrael saddle already)...the shifter seems to be broken...brake lever got minor scracth on both side...managed to find back my odometer but the socket seems to be broken...others later to find out...rite now layan the pain...

Went outing today instead of go biking...bought a pair of shoes to replace the Admiral...not 661 or Specialized...neither Shimano or 5.10...It's totally much much cheaper than those brand...you won't believe it (thanks to Ober for the info)...It's from Vision Street Wear...should be ok for MTBiking used...the rubber out sole feel quite gripped to the pedal...can wear it for leisure as well...

1 years old already???...the next coming PCM will be its B'day & anniversary...although so many obstacle PCM encounter...it still strong among the loyal follower...no matter the person speak it loud or the silent one...thanks for ur support for all this year....yosh!!!!!!

Anyway PCM #12 start a bit gloomy as it's raining outskirt Putrajaya area..."Gerimis mengundang" as u can see hear thunder and see lightning at the beginning but there was no rain at all when the ride begin at 9.45pm...most probably 70's coming for tonite...gud enough...

Pampering myself?? nah!! just changing few thingy...sold my 661 Comp glove and also my Da Bomb Da Skull saddle...so to replaced it...I bought new Azonic MX88 glove and Da Bomb Da Azrael Saddle....

Still tired from ride at Extreme Park last nite plus not enough sleep...but I still wanna go to Bukit Cermin to take a look at the new trail...after all it's been long time that I last visit BC...in August last year...the race time...reached there a bit late around 9.30a.m...at 1st meet Mie Peaty then meet Ober and his brother at Putra Height Petronas...then at the foot hill...bro Tomi and Pedal Gear team arrived...

My purposed riding today just to see and get known the new trail there...so I will just roll down nothing hardcore...starting from the top entering SS1 to SS1.5...playing 2-3 round there...there's a big gap jump there with a sand bag...I just chicken out...huhu..

Already noon..we decided to take all the way down...Heikal lead the way...from SS2 to the Waterfall Rock Garden...there's a small bridge...entering the Rock Garden is quite slippery...you will need a correct speed and good controlling to get passed there...if not just chicken out to the right side...

After a bit long trail at the end of it...there it was...jeng-jeng!!! the River Drop...It look scary from the top...Heikal made the 1st one...done...Ober been thinking again and again...so I just let myself flow to do it...try it 2 times and managed to do it very well..then managed to encouraged Ober...after take some time again and he finally decide to make the drop...nicely done...as for Haziq the 1st attempted was done very good but 2nd and 3rd...he felt down...enough for today...lepak at mamak then went back home...

I always like Giro product...last time I post here is about Giro Flak....while surfing around...I found new designs for their 2009 Remedy helmets lineup...the Matte Titanium Zombies....sickkkkk...leleh akuk tgk....its CPSC and ASTM-1952 certified...14 air vents...lite 1050grams...if u remove the visor...the back design will show u broken zombie’s arm...damned nice...the inner lining are washable...I'm not sure this 2009 design already in Malaysian market or not...tagging price 130USD...for me it's stylo...wishlist???

I borrowed a Vcam from my working lab...going to test it for on board trail cam...attached it with masking tape at the bike frame...I only "lapik" a stocking in between them...later might need to put sponge or what so ever to minimize the vibration...there's a park behind MMU that I think suitable to test run it...the jogging path with some cracking pavement...the starting point nice already on the top...since MMU kind of on a small hill side...

This posting is nothing about bicycle...but it related to the source to get our energy to cycle....just a humanity concern about our food chain now days...today I bought "Karipap" or curry puff for my breakfast...not power puff gurls...and what I found is....jeng-jeng...the size of the Karipap itself shrinking to half...what the tuttttt...the price still same "4 kupang"...40 cent...some of the kuih there 50 cent per piece...manyak mahai woo...what to do...nothing...sekali suap ja abis telan sudah...ngap!!! hilang dari tangan...this is one of things that you must consider before living in Urban area...last time said..food hiked price coz fuel hiked...but when fuel price dropped....food price stil same...get more kecil and less amount...

Thaipusam holiday...again went to PCP...Syawal arrived earlier...I meet Mr.Lam at Cyberjaya Petronas station...Syawal asked me to guide him to PCP as he wanna buy Syawal's saddle...meet Yong and Alan (Tukang basikal Fook Sang) at the back parking...he already finished his round...later Lie arrived with Lah (Lu mmg sempoi kecoh gile)...known Lie from my blog shout box...he come with new setup bike using Da Bomb Bouncing Betty frame...it's white...damned nice...a bit later Rudy came...

We do 1 round at the top section...then we go to the gap jump section...I didn't count how many time I made the jump but I can feel it more better than last time I do it...I'm still noob...my hand still trembling b4 and after make the jump...Fimi was there after finishing his XC ride...Ober came with his brother...Haziq wearing new lucky draw 661 comp full face...then one of the XC riders involved in crashed just before entering the launch...he's too fast and out of control after hard braking....

After that we climb up to the top and ride down through the DH trail to the right instead the usual left ...then "lepaking" at the 4X turf ground...layan there until afternoon...some video below...Lie and Syawal got into crashed with some minor injuries...Haziq performed well on his Scott Voltage...at one time he managed to bailed out nicely to avoid crashing....while been there we were passed by the Ampang's gang...salam2x sikit...they going to layan the upper part of the trail...

Although my name was on the list..sadly I can't join the event today coz I'm working for the equipment installation by JAXA ....the event took place at Dataran Putrajaya Precint 3 incorporated with Cyclefest 2009 Carnival 7-9 Feb 2009...well at lunch time I managed to go to Precint 3 to take a look what's happen there...it's lunch hour so not many people around and the MC said the activities will continue at 3p.m...some picture below...

MRP Party Crasher bash guard

Since I don't have money to buy a chain guide...with the "ciput" budget that I have...I bought a 2nd hand bash guard from Udang...it will act as a replacement of the chain guide for the outer ring...and the FD will guide the upper and inner ring...this is the most cheapest way to do to prevent the chain drop...although it need some adjustment...thx to Ober and Udang for this tips...

Installing it supposed to be easy...after removing the outer chain ring...a problem occurred...the Suntour crank got a small bar behind the crank arm...so the bash guard cannot be mounted....
so the solution that crossed over my mind is to cut it...although Ober said don't...directly went to nearby hardware shop to bought a hack saw blade...after eat my dinner....I started the cutting job...it took me about 15 minutes...done...try mount the bash guard...Alhamdullillah it fit nicely...later on need to manual tuning the FD...enough for today...

While surfing around I found this website about Oliver Fuhrmann.... A pro rider for team MBC Bochum and Biketeam2008.de from Germany...he has an agency SELMA Star sport & communication...a member of Germany BMX & Mountainbike national team...he might not as famous as Peaty, Sam Hill or the Atherton brothers in DH coz he's discipline more to BMX, four cross, dual slalom, free ride and cross country...

Senja nan merah

Haitsan chat with me at fesbuk...telling he gonna go to PCP today for evening ride...from what he said...He, Farid & wife and Fimi is going...well it's a good opportunity for me to exposed myself to ride the X4 Flyer again...so I decided to join...ok then since after lunch hour the lab not in used...I tell my Engineer that I will leave early...he said ok...

At 1st it look like wanna rain...the dark cloud gathering already...but then the Sun appear back..Went back home at 3.30pm...tuning a bit the bike rear brake...wait until 4.30pm...loaded the bike...go to PCP...arrived...Farid & wife already there...then he said Haitsan "GAGAL" untuk hadir...organizer silap timing...SMS-ed Fimi...got reply he's in training...can't also...a bit later Kay appear...with Shah...then Korn coming too...

So we start the ride...Farid already climbed up with his wife...we climbed until the 2nd XC gazebo...I followed Shah and Farid for short XC ride...guess what? tak cukup napas akuk...when were last time I'm doing XC ride?...I can't remember....but now I know the trick how to handle this dirt jump bike...need more n more experience ride with it...a few meters near the DH/AM trail...I already stepped down from the bike pushing it...can't cycled to climb anymore...sweating all over....then Farid & wife have to go...they have to fetch their kid from school...

Meet Udang and some others riders there...Korn eager to try the gap jump...from the beginning when parking the car...he said he wanna try it...so we go the section...some annoying riders was there...after they left...Korn try the 5 feet gap jump...to feel it...I didn't make any jump...coz I didn't feel to and my left leg still hurt from last Saturday ride....the Sun begin to disappear slowly...so we decided to go home....

7.30a.m got a call from Rudy telling Kay said Bukit Cermin area is raining and will be in wet condition...called Ober to spread the news...as for Syawal he can't make it due working...after small discussion through phone with Rudy and Ober...we decided to changed the venue to PCP...I remember Ayman said he also wanna come to Bukit Cermin so I SMS-ed him telling to come to PCP...

I was 1st to arrived since I'm the close one...8.20a.m...later Rudy then Ober..Achong arrived after that...they have "roti canai" for breakfast at nearby shop...Ayman called asking for some direction to PCP...we moved to parked our car and setup our bike around 9.45a.m...climbing from back as usual direct to the DH trail...Ayman arrived....we start ride around 10a.m...the 1st round from the top the last ending of the trail....

So I'm riding the X4 flyer...this is the 1st test ride off road using this frame...seriously very different in term of controlling and handling it...totally different than the Da Bomb Tora Bora frame...suddenly make me ride slower as I tried to make myself comfy with it....so I just rolling down all the way with small jump...I felt totally awkward...maybe this is the 1st time riding it..."tak serasi lagik kot"...

As we pushed back up our bike...we stopped at the gap jump section...Ben was there...he said he just crashed himself...but no major injuries...there was 17 feet and 5 feet to choose...I myself like eager to try it...without wearing any protection pad....I tried the big 17 feet launch gap instead of the smaller one on the right side...so for that...I got myself a battle scar...officially by PCP...my left leg slipped away and hit the pedal...but I didn't crashed...managed to take control after landing...trs jd "bahan" ngan bebudak including Ben...hahaha..

We continue climbed up...resting at the Gazebo...I went back to my car to take the first aid kit box...Achong help washed the blood and I put plaster on it...the scar is small but it's a deep cut...the blood continued flow out but I just like ignoring it...then I wear the knee/shin pad...coz later I will try again to jump at the gap section....

After a few run on the middle section that consist table top and berm...we decided to go back to the gap jump section...Duan join us there...Rudy ready to sniped with his camera...so at 1st we try the 5 feet gap...Rudy's snipping all the action...then I again tried the 17 feet gap...my landing still not so good...need more speed to clear it...well I'm a beginner...:)..my hand still shivering and trembling after make the jump after jump....but I still wanna do it...

Tonite PCM enter it 1st ride of 2009....but it's #10 on it ages...as for me long time no ride...as so many holiday taken place...also some injuries...my left back still ache and my left knee hurt due playing futsal...hopefully manage to complete the 25km tonite...hopefully no rain also tonite...will update later...

Went to clinic after Friday's prayer...telling the doc about the knee injuries...he said might happen due to impact and the old fracture (my besi inside my peha la)...so I got myself 3 types of medicine...30 Calcium tablets...30 Viartril-S capsules..and a Voren plus Gel for rubbing...all to strength up the ligament, tissue and bone on my left knee...hopefully it will reduce and back to normal...

Actually the package arrived last week Tuesday at Syawal's...The frame bought from U.S bike shop through internet...the price?? not more than RM 1k....but I didn't have time to pick it up since I hav to prepared for Sabah trip on Thursday...so I leave it there temporarily...while leaving it there Syawal done some wrapping to the frame...thanks bro...When I'm at Sabah...Syawal do send me MMS pictures of it...about some minor scratch during shipment...and mention to me about the things that need to be concerned is the head tube size is 1.5...not like others normal frame which is 1 1/8...

There...I asked about the 1.5 headset...they got it two type...FSA and Chris King...the Chris King original is too pricey...RM600+...the other is FSA The PIG one point five...Errrrk!!! why the name got piggy -_-"...RM190 nego got RM160...so I said OK take that one...then asking about swapping the frame which he charged RM80...to go other LBS have to think about fuel and toll...nak tak nak buat je la...I actually can do the swapping thingy by myself but the problem is no tools...that's all...

FiuhhH!!! luckily got it...but then another problem occurred...the FSA cup too long for the head tube...the solution...used back the Cane Creek cup...and again luckily all the bearing fitted well...the swapping process complete around 1.45p.m...but then "pening sekejap"...how to put the bike on the rear rack since the frame shaped already changed...It took 10 minutes for me to configured the best way to do...to make sure it's secured safe n won't fall...and then I when back to Cyber...

So the story end...by doing this I sacrifice the name...now I can't claimed "Basikal Putih" or the white bicycle name anymore...since the new SE Racing X4 Flyer frame is silver in color...so from White Shark to Silver Surfer...let me think 1st what's suitable name for it later...but I can't changed the blog address link...hurm....so by doing this maybe I'm the only one in Malaysia riding this rare frame...my precious...>:)

On the new year a few days back...I bought a 2nd hand BMX...you can refer here....which is in lime green color...so upon my laziness...It took a week to slowly disassemble...and do the repaint job......

Sunday ride at PCP again....1st visit for 2009...arrived there around 8.15a.m...while waiting for Ober n Syawal...Meet Rudy and Miharo at the parking area...Achong arrived a bit later...this is Rudy's 1st visit here...we didn't go for XC trail...so we climbed at the other side of the hill...more closed to the DH trail...Adi botak was there already....He give some advised how to take cornering...thx bro..

We started the ride...the 1st one from the top...after that all starting point only from 3/4 from the beginning of the trail...damned tired to pushed up the bike again n again...Mr. Diddie Schneider...the designer of the track also there today... He joined all others riders to test the trail he made...later on Udang came with a box of ice cube n mineral water...sempat "pow" Root beer sikit kat pondok bawah...

After several run...more than 10 times I think...my right legs cramped...just after I made a jump at the 1st flat top near the Gazebo...luckily no rider behind me...dropped slowly from the bike n stopped...sat down...Nash come to helped...thanks bro...others come to remove my bike away from the track...thanks guys...so I think I reached my limit for today (I hav not had a sleep yet since last nite) ...so I just sat at the Gazebo..taking some pictures n video...I want to ride but I can't...

Cancel my plan to go to Putrajaya Challenge Park (PCP)...SMSed Fimi already last nite...so went to Tesco Puchong to COD the green goblin BMX (Bicycle Motocross)...Hait-san ur pinky got fren now...cheapo 2nd hand bike...the setup I think for flatland...using 12T freewheel...but I'm going to "tibai saja"...purposely to abuse...maybe later depend on my laziness respray it...then went to Mr. Lim bike shop to service the crank bearing...replace the bend rear shaft...and change the freewheel to 16T...

After that called Ezam asking the way to R.O.P secret pump track trail...arrived there around 11.15a.m...Ezam, Shah and Korn was testing n built the trail...so I joined them...it's time to try-out the BMX...shoot!! when was the last time I cycled a BMX...take a bit of time to make myself suitable riding it...after 5-6 round although it's short...n it's damned tired...really2x tired...my back hurt...my stomach feel uncomfortable...-_-"

Today would be the last day of 2008...this blog already hit 10k visitors...thank you for viewing and read my broken english posting...

So since I started cycling back in June...my Odometer read almost 800km...that's what been counted...not counting when I'm doing Freeride or Downhill which I removed the cyclo meter to avoid any loss...so after 12a.m tonite..I'll reset it back to zero..
